Nature Reserve Lagunas de Palos y las Madres

This marshland is a group formed by four lagoons named: La Primera de Palos, La Jara, La Mujer and Las Madres de Moguer. Its situation is of great importance as it finds itself halfway to the marshlands of the Tinto and Odiel Rivers and the marshlands of the Guadalquivir River. The fact that its water is sweet, despite of  its proximity to the sea, is striking. This wetland provides water all year long, being like this and important residential and passing area for migratory birds. Going through the botanic path, the visitor can initiate himself in the knowledge of the native vegetation of these reserves.
